I’m Pei Guo, an applied scientist actively exploring new research opportunities. If you think my background aligns with your team or project, feel free to reach out: peiiguo@gmail.com.

After several years in the industry, I’m pivoting back to research-focused work. My current interests span multiple areas, including vision-language models, diffusion models, network interpretation, and network optimization. I’ll be using this blog to share insights and updates from my research journey.

Over the past three years at Microsoft, I’ve led and contributed to several impactful projects—ranging from building large-scale RAG evaluation datasets (multi-hop queries, GraphRAG, LLM-as-judge), to delivering vision-based edge AI systems, and prototyping ML-driven motion planning models from paper to demo. While I’ve enjoyed the engineering challenges, I’m eager to apply my God-given talents toward deeper, research-driven problems with broader impact.
